Philips Ultra Alkaline AA Battery Blister Pack of 4

The AA battery is the most widely used battery around the world and can be found in hundreds of thousands of devices. The IEC codes for AA batteries include the popular LR6 for alkaline AA batteries and HR6 for NiMH rechargeable batteries. The normal voltage for these batteries is 1.5V, while rechargeable batteries generally provide 1.2V. New AA lithium batteries offer greater capacity for a slightly higher price. The AA battery size was standardized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) in 1947, although it had been used in flashlights and electric novelties for some time before formal standardization.
